The Bloomington Family Aquatic Center (BFAC) remains closed for repairs, but progress is ongoing. According to city officials, a leak in the main pool has been fixed.
According to the City of Bloomington, work has now shifted to pouring and curing concrete. This process is weather-dependent, and upcoming rain may affect the timeline. Once the concrete cures, it will be painted. The city is aiming to open the pool between June 21 and June 28, depending on weather conditions. An update is expected next week.
In the meantime, residents can visit Bush Lake Beach and Cedarcrest Splash Pad for free. BFAC season pass holders also have access to the Richfield Outdoor Pool by presenting their pass.
