The City of Bloomington is rallying behind the Bloomington Crime Prevention Association (BCPA) for its 30th Annual Book ’Em Used Book Sale, aiming to support local crime prevention initiatives. The event, a staple community effort in fostering safer neighborhoods, will commence on June 7 and stretch until June 21, with a special preview night slated for June 6 from 4 to 8 p.m., where admission is set at $10 a pop, but BCPA cardholders can breeze in at no cost, as reported by the City of Bloomington.
Would-be shoppers and donors alike can flock to 10779 Hampshire Ave. S. during weekdays between the hours of 1-7 p.m., while weekends offer an expanded browsing window from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., everyone with a chance to snag anything from books to Blu-rays to bewilderingly intricate puzzles and even games, all diligently sorted and staged by a cadre of devoted volunteers, as per the City of Bloomington.
Those looking for further information on the sale or eager to engage more deeply with the community's crime prevention efforts are encouraged to visit bcpamn.org or email the organizers at [email protected].
