
A two-alarm fire ravaged a residence at 40 Codman Hill Avenue in Boston, leaving 10 people and several pets without a home. The incident, which began on the rear porches and quickly spread throughout the house, was reported by the Boston Fire Department on social media. According to a post from the department, all fire companies were actively engaged in extinguishing the blaze.

In the aftermath, the Boston Fire Department cleared the scene, with District Chief Wahlen providing updates to the media. The fire displaced 10 individuals, along with two dogs and three cats. The Boston Fire Department's Victim Assistance Unit and the Red Cross of Massachusetts were on hand to offer support to those affected. “All fire companies are clearing from the Codman Hill Avenue fire,” the department stated, as damages were estimated to exceed $550,000.
