The Boston Fan Expo 2025 is set to take place from August 8 to August 10 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. According to CBS News Boston, headlining the event is actor and WWE star John Cena, a native of West Newbury, Massachusetts.
Other featured guests include Star Wars actors Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen, as well as Lord of the Rings stars Orlando Bloom and John Rhys-Davies. The event will also host several cast members from the TV series Supernatural, including Jared Padalecki, as reported by Street Insider.
The expo will span over 250,000 square feet and include appearances by voice actors such as Dante Basco from Avatar: The Last Airbender. A cosplay contest with a $1,000 prize will take place, and attendees can explore comic creator panels, vendor booths, seminars, photo ops, and interactive gaming.
Comic industry figures like Frank Miller and Scott Snyder are also scheduled to appear. Tickets start at $39, though photo ops and autographs are priced separately. Special hotel rates are available for attendees through the Expo’s official website.
