The Boston Police Department joined Brighton High School’s graduation ceremony at Fenway Park to celebrate students who participated in the BPD’s Pathway Program. According to the Boston Police Department, officers from various branches attended to support the graduates who spent the past school year learning about careers in law enforcement through regular meetings with BPD and Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department staff.
The Pathway Program introduces students to both uniformed and civilian roles in public safety, offering hands-on experience and education about law enforcement. Participants engaged in activities designed to build skills and provide insight into the profession.
In a public statement, the Boston Police Department said, “We’re proud to support programs that empower and educate the next generation—and we wish all the graduates the very best in their next chapter.”
