The Boston Police Department is inviting adults to attend a virtual workshop titled Stop Block Talk: Internet & Social Media Safety on July 23 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. The session will focus on internet and social media safety, addressing both the risks and uses of digital platforms, websites, and games commonly used by young people, as per the Boston Police Department website.

The workshop is designed to provide information and strategies to help adults support online safety for minors. Spanish interpretation will be available. Registration is required and can be completed at bit.ly/sbt72325.

The event is organized by the department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit as part of a continuing series on digital safety. It is free to attend and open to the public.
