
Boston Police Recruit Class 65-25 recently participated in a community coffee hour at Keystone Apartments in Dorchester. The event is part of an ongoing effort to promote community engagement and relationship-building between officers and residents.
According to a news release from the Boston Police Department, the gathering allowed the new recruits to interact with local residents in an informal setting alongside members of the Bureau of Community Engagement. The department described the event as an ongoing tradition aimed at building trust within the community.
The morning included conversation and coffee, highlighting the department’s commitment to connecting with residents and introducing new officers to their communities through direct, in-person engagement.
