The Boston Police Department has issued a missing person alert for 79-year-old Themistokl Kuqi from Hyde Park. Last seen yesterday, June 4, around 8:20 p.m. near Summer Street, Hyde Park, there's an ongoing appeal to the public to help find the elderly man.
Kuqi is described as a white male, of Albanian ethnicity, standing around 5’01” and weighing approximately 155 lbs. He was last spotted wearing a white hat, brown jacket, a blue & white shirt, black pants, and was carrying a gray bag along with a brown suitcase. According to the police report, he might have been on the MBTA #32 bus around 9:00 p.m. and could possibly be around the area of Forest Hills, Hyde Park Avenue, or Washington Street.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Kuqi's whereabouts to step forward and contact 911 or the District E-18 Detectives at 617-343-5607. In an effort to cast a wider net, the Boston Police Department is also providing anonymous reporting options for those who may have information but wish to remain unidentified.
The Boston Police Department's plea for assistance includes an encouragement to submit tips anonymously through various channels. Information can be provided via phone at 1-800-494-TIPS, or texting “TIP” to CRIME (27463), or by visiting the online Boston Police CrimeStoppers site. Photos and videos that may be linked to Kuqi's disappearance can also be submitted to assist in the investigation while strictly protecting the source’s identity.
