The Boynton Beach Police Department has identified a suspect in a grim double homicide that recently shocked the Leisureville Community. During yesterday's news conference, police chief Joseph DeGiulio named the suspect as Jyuno Alexander Daniels, a 32-year-old man originally from Texas, and indicated he is now wanted for two counts of first-degree murder with a firearm.

According to the BBPD, Daniels was staying with the couple prior to the shooting. The chaos of the incident was reflected in a 911 call where, "It sounded like there was a disturbance in the background where there was a struggle. During the struggle, you can hear some shots being fired and we lost contact with the original caller," police chief DeGiulio said, as obtained by CBS12 News. The suspect is described as a mixed race male, likely standing between 5'11" and 6'1", and weighing around 180 pounds.

The victims of this tragic event have been identified as 63-year-old Selicia Noreika and 63-year-old Freddy Bedasie, both residents of Boynton Beach. They were found shot to death at a home on 2003 Southwest 17th Street by officers who responded to the disturbance call on Monday morning, according to statements published by WPBF. Freddy Bedasie's niece shared the deep affect the loss has had on the family, saying "We are all taking this very hard and my father is devasted," according to the niece's interview with CBS12 News.

In the wake of the shooting, BBPD has increased neighborhood patrols, and is working with the U.S. Marshals Service in efforts to apprehend the armed and dangerous Daniels, as reported by WPBF. A non-emergency tip line has been established at 561-742-6156 for anyone with information, urging residents to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police. "It's unbelievable. This is a quiet, quiet neighborhood," said Annette Katarincic, a local resident who has lived in Boynton Leisureville for three months, as described by CBS12 News.

The Boynton Beach Police Department continues its investigation and calls on the public's assistance. They stress that Daniels should not be approached under any circumstances and that any potentially relevant information or sightings should prompt a call to 911.
