The Braintree Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Daniel Earl Whynot, a 57-year-old man reported missing yesterday morning. He was last seen walking northbound from Braintree Manor at 1102 Washington Street around 5:08 a.m.

According to the Braintree Police Department's Facebook post, Whynot is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, 201 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a winter beanie, a brown jacket, a Patriots t-shirt, gray and white pants, black shoes, and was carrying two bags and a backpack.

Whynot is known to frequent the Worcester area and has family in Waltham. There are no indications at this time that he poses a danger to himself or others, and no signs of foul play have been reported.
