In what unfolded as a fairly routine traffic stop in Glen Burnie, things took a significant turn, leading to a Brooklyn man's arrest and a drug seizure. As FOX Baltimore reported, officers pulled over a gray Toyota Tacoma on Tanyard Springs Lane near Mockingbird Circle after noting the vehicle displayed a stolen registration plate.
It was approximately 2 p.m. on Wednesday when the Anne Arundel Police Department made the traffic stop. Following an investigation that the police said recovered the stolen registration plate, officers seized $414 in cash, about 7 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and close to 22 grams of suspected powder cocaine. All substances appeared to be packaged for distribution, with the vehicle displaying a stolen registration plate before stopping the Brooklyn man.
The driver, identified as 38-year-old Oscar Armando Guardado-Garcia, faced immediate arrest and charges. DC News Now confirmed the man's details and the specifics of the substances and cash seized during the incident.
