Burnsville, Minnesota, is set to transform Colonial Park into an impromptu arena for dodgeball enthusiasts and casual throwers alike with its "Everything Dodgeball" event, part of the Pop Up Party in the Park series, slated for Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
According to a recent social media post by the City of Burnsville, participation is as free as the breeze in that open park. Prospective players are instructed to show up with "sneakers, a water bottle and your best dodge, duck, dip, dive... and dodge." It's a drop-by affair meant to kick off the summer with some adrenaline-pumping action, where kids won't be checked in or out, a fact which should prompt parents and guardians to stick around.
