Cambridge will host its 25th Annual Cambridge Dance Party on Friday next week, called "Revolutionary Reunion 250," marking 250 years of the city’s history. According to the City of Cambridge, the event begins with the Cambridge Senior Jam Session at 806 Massachusetts Avenue, featuring A Trike Called Funk from 4 to 6 p.m. A family-friendly event will start at 5 p.m. on Temple Street, followed by the main Dance Party at 6 p.m. in front of City Hall.

Local DJs including P.A.C., Ed Word Galan, Rich Medina, and Tony Touch will perform throughout the evening. The event will include interactive activities for all ages and a light show at sunset illuminating City Hall and nearby areas.

Bike valet services will be available at both ends of the closed Massachusetts Avenue section. The event is accessible by bike or MBTA Red Line. The celebration will proceed rain or shine, with organizers expecting a large turnout.

The event is organized by the City Manager’s Office, Cambridge Arts, and Central Square BID, with support from various city departments. More information and updates are available on the City of Cambridge website and Facebook page.
