Cambridge has reached a settlement with Harvard Chabad, ending a legal dispute over the construction of a new building for the organization.
According to the City of Cambridge release, the agreement was reached through mediation led by U.S. Magistrate Judge Page Kelley. The City has agreed to allow Harvard Chabad to proceed with building plans.
The City acknowledged that there were differing opinions on the issue and recognized that the outcome may not align with what all residents wanted. However, it emphasized that the decision was made in accordance with legal requirements.
