Summer is shaping up to be anything but boring for the teens of Carver County. Carver County Parks just dropped the news of their summer camp lineup at Lake Minnewashta Regional Park, and it's packed with good times and great opportunities for local youth to explore outdoor activities.
The standout offerings include a Teen Archery Camp from July 22–24, where, for $68, participants can learn to aim and hit the bullseye under the guidance of trained instructors. For those looking to make a splash, the Teen Paddle Camp, also happening from July 22–24 but in the afternoons, will set teens back $90 to try their hands at canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding, as detailed by the Carver County Parks. And if a full session feels too much, there’s a Teen Paddle Board Session on July 18 priced at $25 for a quick foray into the sport.
