Casa Grande's transportation network just got a little bit bigger, CG LINK, the city's public transport service, has announced an expansion of its service area. On June 23, CG LINK began serving additional parts of the city, a move aimed at providing residents with broader access to shared ride options. According to a release from the City of Casa Grande, the new coverage includes areas north of Cottonwood Lane up to Viola Street/Palm Parke Blvd, and includes Palm Creek Resort with a stop near its Clubhouse.
The service operates from Monday through Saturday, starting at 7:00 a.m. and wrapping up at 7:00 p.m. For those in need of a ride, CG LINK encourages reservations, but is also accepting same-day requests. Residents can book a ride by calling (520) 509-6900, or through the CG LINK Rider App, which is available for download on the Apple Store, and Google Play. Whether it's for work, shopping trips, or recreational outings, CG LINK is setting out to be a versatile option for getting around town.
CG LINK's services don't just cater to those without wheels, cyclists are also welcome to bring their bikes along, as vehicles are equipped with bike racks. The fare remains budget-friendly at $1.50 per one-way trip. The City has emphasized convenience, prompting users to make roundtrip reservations to secure their return rides.
