A bizarre incident at Boston’s Logan Airport left a van wedged under a parked plane over the past weekend. A Massachusetts Port Authority spokesperson detailed that a catering minivan collided with a stationary Republic Airways aircraft yesterday morning. According to Boston25 News, the driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for an evaluation.
Suffering only minor injuries in the crash, the driver was taken to receive medical care. No passengers or crew were present on the plane when the mishap unfolded MassLive reports. The parked plane, an Embraer E175, awaited at the gate during the early morning hours when it was struck around 4:45 a.m.
