
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office, in collaboration with Crime Stoppers of El Paso, is seeking public assistance in tracking down its most wanted fugitives, implicated in serious offenses ranging from aggravated kidnapping to DWI. El Paso County Sheriff Oscar Ugarte reached out via social media, underscoring the urgency of locating these individuals.
The current list of individuals features Kathyleen Campos, Hector Daniel Silva, Alvaro Castro, Sergio Miranda Gonzalez, and Chacen Manuel Mejia. Campos, 26, has been accused of cruelty to non-livestock animals, with her bond set at $10,000. Silva, 24, faces allegations of aggravated kidnapping, with a bond of $25,500. Castro, 31, is wanted for interference with railroad property, carrying a hefty $101,000 bond, while Gonzalez, 46, faces charges related to the sale of stolen regulated materials and is currently held without bond. Mejia, 35, has been cited for driving while intoxicated for the third time or more, and is also being held without bond, according to El Paso County Sheriff Oscar Ugarte in a social media post.
The Sheriff's Office has made it clear that these individuals present a tangible risk to the community, encouraging residents to come forward with any information that could lead to their apprehension. Tips that result in an arrest may be subject to a cash reward, adding an incentive for community involvement.
