As El Paso County Sheriff Oscar Ugarte proudly shared via Facebook, "From start to finish, our players gave it their all." Over a grueling three-day span, the EPSO FC endured seven matches. Despite the physical toll of back-to-back games, the sweltering climate, and the exhaustion that inevitably tags along, they remained undeterred in their pursuit of excellence on the field.
Their endurance is particularly noteworthy, signifying the officers' dedication to both their sport and their work. "Our deputies and officers pushed through the heat, humidity, and fatigue—never letting up and never backing down," El Paso County Sheriff Oscar Ugarte noted, illustrating the team's tenacity in the face of a challenging schedule.
