The Euless Family Life Senior Center played host to a community-centric health fair earlier this month, designed as a resource-rich expo for local elders and their caregivers. The event, which unfolded on May 2nd from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., provided attendees the opportunity to engage with wellness experts and partake in informative sessions aimed at enhancing their quality of life.
Located at 300 W. Midway Dr. in Euless, Texas, the Senior Center's health fair featured a variety of services and activities, including health screenings, fitness demonstrations, and educational talks about nutrition and preventive care, all of which were open to the public and welcomed the involvement of caregivers.
As a gesture of inclusivity, the City of Euless made a point to welcome individuals with accessibility needs by providing necessary aids or services for effective communication, as well as modifications in policies or procedures for program participation; Connie Scott, the ADA Coordinator of Euless, was the point of contact for such accommodations.
