A man was fatally stabbed early this morning at the Icon Residences, located at 485 Brickell Ave. in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood. According to NBC Miami, Miami police responded to the scene and found the victim with stab wounds. He was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival.
The Miami Herald reports that the incident occurred on the 34th floor of the high-rise building, which also houses the W Miami hotel and is managed by SS Vacation Rentals. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
Police believe the suspect or suspects fled to a nearby construction site following the incident. In response, SWAT teams, drones, and K9 units were deployed to search the area. As of now, no arrests have been made.
