The Town of Fountain Hills and Republic Services have jointly announced the beneficiaries of their 2025 Non-Profit Grant Program. Two local non-profits, Mary Ellen & Robert McKee Boys & Girls Club and Fountain Hills Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition, are set to receive $5,000 each, totalling a $10,000 investment into local community initiatives.
These grants underscore a sustained collaboration between the town and the waste management giant, which has been providing several key community services for over a decade. Mayor Gerry Friedel extolled this partnership, noting, "For more than ten years, Republic has been a reliable partner to Fountain Hills, consistently delivering essential services like curbside recycling and trash pickup."
