Those looking to soak up some local culture and tunes have a chance to hit the ground running this summer at the Coon Rapids Dam. Tonight marks the second concert of the season, featuring LP & the 45s. The City of Coon Rapids announced on their official Facebook page that the event starts at 7 p.m., with both parking and admission free of charge for all attendees.
The City of Coon Rapids indicates that the Coon Rapids Community Strength Foundation is the powerhouse behind the Summer Concert Series. In keeping with the community vibe, concessions will be available to purchase, starting from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m., care of the Coon Rapids North Star Lions Club and Boy Scout Troop #524.
