Frontier Airlines is expanding its footprint in Florida, and bargain-seekers might want to pay attention as the low-fare carrier has announced the launch of six new routes out of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) this June. Joining the lineup of affordable destinations are twice-weekly flights to Jacksonville, Fort Myers, Palm Beach, San Pedro Sula in Honduras, as well as to St. Louis and Columbus, Ohio, offering a variety of price points starting as low as $49, as The Palm Beach Post reports.
A notable addition is the service connecting West Palm Beach to Atlanta which commenced last Friday, running twice a week in line with Frontier's "America's Greenest Airline" initiative, with flyers eager to snatch up promotional fares beginning at just $59, a move that's got local travelers thrilled about cheaper travel options. In tandem with this push, Frontier's Vice President of Network and Operations Design Josh Flyr remarked to CBS12 News, "We are thrilled to offer our signature ultra-low cost flight options to Palm Beach-area consumers traveling to Atlanta or one of the many exciting destinations we serve beyond."
Travelers looking to take advantage of the limited-time offer must book their tickets by 11:59 p.m. ET on June 25. Sales fares are valid for non-stop travel on select days between June 27 and November 19, though blackout dates on July 3 and 6, and September 1 are in effect, and a 14-day advance purchase is required, but not for a round trip.
Frontier's commitment to customer satisfaction has been further cemented by implementing customer-friendly changes last year in response to feedback, which includes simplified fare structures with additional amenities, a no-change fee for most fare types, the reinstatement of their customer service phone line after it was previously discontinued, and a competitive low price guarantee offering 2,500 miles for travelers who find a cheaper comparable flight, as per The Palm Beach Post. Moreover Frontier is also offering a new seating option called UpFront Plus which ensures an empty middle seat for passengers desiring more personal space.
