A pool party on Freetown Road in Glen Burnie escalated into a violent altercation last Friday night, leading to gunfire. As reported by WMAR2 News, Anne Arundel County Police arrived at the 7700 block after receiving calls about the incident. Their investigation noted that the conflict among several individuals culminated in someone discharging a firearm into the sky, prompting partygoers to exit the area hastily.
With the crowd dispersed, police faced the challenge of gathering details—many had already left the scene once officers reached the location, and those who remained sealed their lips, refusing to cooperate with law enforcement. According to a press release cited by WBALTV, a single 9mm shell casing was found at the scene, which serves as tangible evidence of the night's chaos, though no suspects have been charged so far.
The Anne Arundel County Police have made an appeal to the public for assistance in the case. They encourage anyone with information about the incident to contact Northern District detectives at 410-222-6135 and have provided an option for anonymous tips through the Police Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
