In the same social media post, the HCSO provided a cautionary note for businesses: "If your business receives a call, feel free to contact the HCSO at 423-586-3781 to verify the full name & phone number of the caller, in order to safeguard from potential scammers." This measure is a proactive step by the HCSO to protect local enterprises from fraudulent schemes which could masquerade as legitimate advertising opportunities.
