As the investigation into the tragic mass shooting at Midtown Daiquiri Bar and Grill continues, authorities are intensifying their search for a person of interest. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the Bibb County Sheriff's Office has released surveillance images of an individual they believe may have crucial information about the events of May 18, when three men lost their lives and six others were left wounded.
The urgency loomed as two suspects have already been taken into custody. Jarrius Terrell Curry, 28, was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Taskforce on charges of aggravated assault. A day later, 17-year-old Travis Keyshaun Glover was arrested by the Bibb County SWAT Team and was charged with murder. In order to possibly shed more light on the incident, investigators are urging anyone who can identify the person seen dressed in a red jacket in the bar to come forward.
The backstory remains as harrowing as the night it unfolded. Victims Javonta Faulks, Jedarrius Meadows Jr., and Javarsia Meadows, whose ages spanned from 24 to 32, were pronounced dead following the shooting. Six additional individuals were hurriedly transported to the hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds. Meanwhile, the Bibb County Sheriff's Office has not yet disclosed what roles Curry and Glover are accused of playing in the shooting, nor have they released a motive, reports FOX 5 Atlanta.
Another twist came with the involvement of Muchman Bond III, 24, who was served with an arrest warrant in connection with the mass shooting while already in custody on separate charges in Richland County, South Carolina. WGXA pursued insights from the Richland County Sheriff's Office regarding Bond's charges, yet information on whether he is still in custody has not been unveiled. WGXA also reached out to Ja'Lon Smith, the attorney for Midtown Daiquiri Bar who declined to comment, stating, they do not "have any comment at this time," as learned by WGXA.
