
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has taken into custody an individual in Orlando on suspicion of gang affiliation and immigration violations, the agency reported in a recent announcement. The suspect, whose identity has been withheld, is believed to be associated with the international criminal gang MS-13, as WFTV reported. More details regarding the incident and the individual in question are expected to be released by ICE.
According to ICE, the arrest occurred after the individual in question reportedly barricaded himself inside a residence in the Orlando area during a targeted enforcement operation, despite ICE not revealing specific locations. They also mentioned the collaborative effort of the FBI and Florida Highway Patrol in facilitating the arrest, as affirmed by WESH.
The law enforcement agencies managed to apprehend the alleged MS-13 gang member today, arresting an immigrant who lacked permanent legal status within the United States.
