An ongoing drug investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies has led to the arrest of three individuals in Knox County, Tennessee. As reported by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the operation was part of the "313 Initiative," targeting the influx of dangerous narcotics allegedly originating from the Detroit area into the local community.

Digging into the details of the raid, which took place on Thursday, agents executed a search warrant on a residence along Pelleaux Road. According to the TBI, inside the home, nearly two pounds of fentanyl, more than half a pound of cocaine, and quantities of methamphetamine were found. Also seizing four firearms and over $20,000 in cash, being arrested were three adult males, Michael Siebert, Antwon Siebert, and Roy Hines. All suspects hailed from Detroit, Michigan, and are now facing multiple drug and firearm-related charges.

The TBI stated, "The charges and allegations referenced in this release are merely accusations of criminal conduct, not evidence." It is important to remind our readers that the accused are considered innocent until proven guilty through the due process of law. The presence of three juveniles at the scene added a layer to the case, as they were taken into care by the Department of Children’s Services following the arrests.

The 313 Initiative is a collaborative effort bringing together local, state, and federal agencies with the expressed goal of dismantling criminal activities associated with drug trafficking. Among the participants in the initiative are the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Tennessee Highway Patrol, and several other judicial district drug task forces and law enforcement divisions from Tennessee and neighboring states, as reported by the TBI news release.
