Following a pair of search warrants executed in Knoxville on Wednesday, four suspects are now behind bars with a significant stash of illegal substances and firearms seized. The Knoxville Police Department's Organized Crime Unit, with support from a coalition of law enforcement including the FBI and TBI, targeted residences on Cedar Avenue and Bishop Street as part of an investigation into drug distribution that's been underway for some time.

Detectives discovered more than a pound of various drugs including cocaine, fentanyl, and marijuana. To accompany the narcotics, officers also found four guns in the mix. The operation was carefully coordinated, the entities involved worked to comprehensively examine and ultimately disrupt a segment of the local drug trade, according to the Knoxville Police Department's report.

The individuals arrested have been identified as Bernard Campbell, 54; Amos Wright, 47; Dale Campbell, 48; and Mark Reeves, 49, all from Knoxville. They're facing a variety of charges, with Bernard Campbell charged with maintaining a drug-related dwelling, alongside drug violations and possession of drug paraphernalia. Amos Wright has been slapped with numerous felony drug charges, including possession of a weapon as a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony. Both Dale Campbell and Mark Reeves also face several drug offenses. It's noted that Bernard Campbell, Amos Wright, and Dale Campbell all have past felony convictions related to drug distribution.

The arrests mark a continued phase in addressing drug-related activity within the community.
