Looking forward to the evening, the weather is predicted to remain mostly clear, with the thermometer dipping slightly to a comfortable 58 degrees, and calm conditions are expected to continue. For those planning their week around the weather, the following days promise more sun. Tuesday and Wednesday are slated to offer highs of 86 and 88 degrees, respectively, again under calm winds. The peaceful pattern, however, is expected to shift come Thursday.
Forecasts from the National Weather Service indicate a 20 percent chance of afternoon showers on Thursday, with mostly sunny skies and a high nearing 87 degrees. These conditions are anticipated to persist into the evening, when there's a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. As the weekend approaches, the probability of precipitation increases to 50 percent, with possible thunderstorms expected by Friday afternoon.
Those with weekend plans should take note: Saturday and Sunday both carry a strong likelihood of rain and thunderstorms. Come Saturday, the chance of shower activity is pegged at 70 percent, only slightly diminishing to 60 percent by nightfall. Sunday is similarly damp with a 60 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms, while the high is expected to hover around 83 degrees, as per the NWS.
