The Knoxville Police Department recognized Officers Eric Blood and John Morris for their life-saving actions during a medical emergency on April 1.
According to a post shared by the Knoxville Police Department on Facebook, the officers responded to a call on Skyline Drive and found a woman experiencing a drug overdose.
The officers administered Narcan and performed CPR, which helped the woman regain a pulse and consciousness. Medical personnel later confirmed that the quick response was critical to saving her life.
