Lake Havasu City has announced a series of nighttime construction projects aimed to readily improve road conditions for the community. The work is scheduled to take place on Thursday and wrapping up on July 3. These efforts are a part of a larger initiative to ensure the enduring safety of the city's residents and visitors, as noted in an update provided by Lake Havasu City's official website.
Set primarily to take place between the nighttime hours of 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., the city aims to conveniently reduce the impact on traffic. The first of the operations is slated to begin on Thursday, with milling work set to commence on Smoketree Avenue from Lake Havasu Avenue to State Route 95, as well as Wings Loop at Swanson Avenue. Similar works will be conducted on Smoketree Avenue going from Lake Havasu Avenue to Swanson Avenue.
The next phase of improvements is scheduled for Monday night, June 30, where crews will be paving Smoketree Avenue from State Route 95 to Lake Havasu Avenue, including Wings Loop at Swanson. As the week progresses, the focus will shift to completing the paving on Smoketree Avenue from Lake Havasu Avenue to Swanson Avenue, with specific traffic directions being made accessible on consecutive nights.
To facilitate the construction process and assist motorists, detours and signs will be placed to clearly indicate directions throughout each phase of the work. Lake Havasu City advises drivers to follow all posted signage and allow additional time for travel during the construction periods.
