Las Cruces teens are about to get their groove on this summer with a series of teen dances hosted by the City of Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department. The events, earmarked for local teens looking for a good time in a supervised setting, are set to light up Friday nights with music and dancing.
According to the City of Las Cruces, these dances aim to provide a fun and safe venue where teens can hang out during those warm summer evenings. Set to transform 302 S. Main Street, the spot once known as Amador Live, into a dance hub, the department has all hands on deck to make sure these nights are memorable. Teens are invited to cut loose from 7 until 11 p.m. on June 20, July 18, and August 1.
The gatherings are not just a chance to sway to the latest hits but are also a rite of passage for the 13 to 17 age group. The city ensures that only the beats are wild by stationing city staff and security personnel on-site, who are there solely to ensure a safe, controlled environment.
