Fans in Phoenix can circle August 29 on their calendars when the rapper will take the stage at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre.
Joining Weezy onstage are “Taste” hitmaker Tyga and Atlanta’s own Belly Gang Kushington, giving fans a nostalgic dose of Young Money’s legacy. With this duo backing Lil Wayne, the event doubles as a pseudo-reunion of the influential label, according to Billboard. General ticket sales open June 6 at 10 a.m.
The "Tha Carter VI" album is Wayne's first solo project since "Funeral" in 2020, which debuted at the top spot on the Billboard 200, with the previous three Carter series albums also reaching chart-topping success, as per Billboard.
