Priced at $35, the self-paced course is designed to help hunters improve their bowhunting skills and understand hunting regulations in other states, according to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has introduced an online bowhunter education course to help hunters meet certification requirements in other states. Louisiana does not require this training, but the course includes lessons on safety, gear, wildlife identification, ethical shot placement, and conservation. Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Secretary Tyler Bosworth said, “We’re excited to offer this new option to our hunting community.” The course is designed to prepare hunters who may want to hunt outside Louisiana.
Interested participants can access the course through the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries website under the ‘Education and Events’ section. Tyler Bosworth stated, “This course offers flexibility, accessibility, and ensures our hunters are prepared to meet education requirements across state lines.”
