
A man involved in a shooting at the South Turn Lounge and Restaurant in Daytona Beach, which resulted in three individuals being hospitalized, has been arrested. As per a report by ClickOrlando, the incident occurred last night, circa 10:48 p.m., when the suspect, identified as Anthony Kaznakoff, 28, after being ejected from the bar for belligerent behavior, returned to the establishment and discharged multiple rounds towards the entrance.
Law enforcement stated that Kaznakoff was allegedly under the influence of alcohol during the incident. After being asked to leave the lounge due to his aggressive demeanor, he quickly came back outside, engaged in a brief verbal altercation before firing his weapon. The Daytona Beach Police Department, while responding to the emergency, found the three victims near the bar's front entrance, all of whom are expected to survive their injuries. Kaznakoff then fled the scene in his vehicle, according to the police report.
WESH reported that witnesses in the establishment corroborated the details of the incident, recalling the man's aggressive behavior and subsequent shooting. Following their investigation, the police identified Kaznakoff as the primary suspect. They proceeded to his residence, where they gathered information that he had left on foot after a brief visit, post the shooting.
Kaznakoff, after being contacted by his family, surrendered to the authorities without further incident. He now faces multiple charges, including three counts of attempted felony murder, aggravated battery, three counts of aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony, and one count of using a firearm while intoxicated. He is currently being held without bond, as per the latest records.
