
A ghastly scene unfolded in the West End neighborhood this past Monday when a man was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department has confirmed that officers responded to a call in the 5900 block of Plymouth around 1:03 p.m. on Saturday, where they discovered the victim in a distressing state, without clothes, lain on the sidewalk.
According to the official report by SLMPD, the man was pronounced dead at the scene by the arriving EMS personnel. The identity of the victim has not yet been released, pending family notification. The homicide detectives are investigating this shooting, looking into leads on a motive and a suspect, which at this point, remains undisclosed to the public.
