A 44-year-old man was injured in a shooting last Saturday at 2716 Martin Luther King Junior Drive SW in Atlanta. The incident occurred around 6:05 p.m., and Atlanta Police responded to the scene shortly after.
According to a statement from the Atlanta Police Department, the victim was found with a gunshot wound to his left leg. He was alert and conscious and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The department's Aggravated Assault Unit is investigating the incident. As of now, no details about the motive or potential suspects have been released.
