
Residents of Antioch's Terrace View Avenue were shaken by the sound of gunfire last Saturday, as the tranquility of their community was pierced by a shooting incident that left one man wounded. The Antioch Police Department responded to the emergency at approximately 8:49 PM in the 2000 block of the street, where they found a 38-year-old male suffering from a gunshot injury. According to the Antioch Police Department, the officers provided immediate medical aid until the Contra Costa Fire personnel arrived.
The victim, whose identity has not been revealed, was swiftly transported to a local hospital, where his wounds were classified as non-life-threatening. The police are currently investigating to apprehend whoever is responsible for this act of violence.
