According to a social media post from Mansfield PD, the event was hosted from June 2–7 at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, where public safety professionals numbering over 300 congregated from across the nation. The highlight being Officer Hart, who, in the Basic Police Cyclist Course, instructed six officers her focusing on patrol techniques on the bike, safety protocols, and tactical operations.
The International Police Mountain Bike Association's (IPMBA) Board of Directors handpicked Officer Hart to lead this essential training, marking a significant achievement for both her and the Mansfield Police Department. Over the week, Officer Hart shared her knowledge with enthusiasm, preparing her eager trainees for the varying demands of bike patrol duties.
Beyond the Basic Police Cyclist Course, the conference showcased an array of learning experiences through six separate one-week courses and 20 specialized clinics. These sessions offered valuable hands-on training that broadened the skill set and operational capabilities of the participants.
