Las Crucens looking for a face-to-face with city leadership will have the opportunity to bend the ear of Mayor Pro Tem Johana Bencomo this July. The Councilor for District 4 is slated to hold open office hours most Tuesdays of the month, giving residents a chance to express their concerns, pitch their ideas, or seek answers to their questions straight from the source.
Bencomo's office hours, announced without the need for an appointment, offer a direct line to local governance. They will be stationed in Community Development Room 1158 on the first floor of City Hall, located at 700 N. Main St. With doors open from 5-6 p.m., constituents are welcome on July 1, July 15, July 22 and July 29; however, they will not find her on July 8, which her staff has confirmed. According to the City of Las Cruces, the initiative is part of Bencomo's commitment to accessibility and constituent services.
