The Memphis Police Department is currently on the search for a 22-year-old man, Courtraziun Marble, who went missing following a house fire on Tuesday night in the Raleigh neighborhood. As reported by Action News 5, Marble was last seen by his mother, who had delivered some food to him prior to the blaze that destroyed his home.
Marble is described as being 5-foot-9 and weighing 210 pounds with a light complexion and short hair. During the investigation, it was made known by his mother that he suffers from memory loss, which adds to the urgency of locating him. According to a FOX13 Memphis report, the Memphis Fire Department did not find anyone in the residence during the aftermath of the fire, which leaves Marble's current whereabouts unknown.
The MPD has issued a City Watch alert for Marble and is seeking the public's assistance in tracing his steps post the incident. As the property on the 3800 block of Selden Cove became engulfed in flames, it appears that Marble may have left the scene prior to or during the emergence of the fire. "However, the fire department did not locate anyone in the burned residence," MPD said, pointing to the mysterious circumstance of his disappearance.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about Courtraziun Marble to come forward and assist in the search. As stated by WREG, community members who have seen, heard, or know of Marble's location should immediately contact the Missing Persons department at the Memphis Police at 901-545-2677. The concern for Marble's safety grows as each moment passes, and the Memphis community is hopeful that he will be found safe soon.
