
A case of credit card fraud was reported in Memphis last month, and the Memphis Police Department is requesting assistance from the community. According to the department's news release, on May 1 at 7:10 p.m., officers received a report concerning a credit card fraud incident that took place in the 1600 block of East Shelby Drive.
The report states that two male suspects used a credit card that did not belong to them and did so without the cardholder's permission. They made multiple purchases at various local businesses, including a gas station and a McDonald's in the Memphis area.
Memphis Police have issued a public appeal for information that could help identify and locate the suspects involved. Authorities are urging anyone with knowledge related to the credit card fraud to come forward. Those with information are encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers directly at 528-CASH.
