Miami residents can look forward to a mix of sunny skies and potential showers as the week progresses. According to a forecast by the National Weather Service, Tuesday kicked off with a slim 20 percent chance of showers before 9 a.m., transitioning into sunny conditions with temperatures peaking at 88 degrees. Southeast winds are expected to reach up to 13 mph, with possible gusts as high as 18 mph.
Continuing into the week, Wednesday holds a 30 percent chance of precipitation, featuring mostly sunny weather and high temperatures approaching 89 degrees, as per the National Weather Service. However, as the NBC Miami report notes, Saharan dust trailing to the south could trigger more widespread rain as it intersects with moisture in the region. Despite the anticipated rain, temperatures are projected to remain near the familiar 90-degree mark.
As we move closer to Juneteenth, Thursday forecasts a 30 percent chance of showers, with the National Weather Service indicating mostly sunny skies and the high hovering around 89 degrees. The trend of spotty showers continues into the weekend, with a 40 percent possibility of precipitation on Saturday and a high of 89 degrees expected.
Further, NBC Miami highlights the broader weather patterns influencing these conditions, stating that "changes arrive as we get into Wednesday and Thursday" due to moisture build-up, while "much needed rain is in the forecast for a few days." Nevertheless, the persistence of the heat is clear as temperatures stay unwavering and close to 90 degrees.
