Traffic came to a standstill as the investigation prompted the temporary closure of Northwest Seventh Avenue, spanning from 58th to 62nd streets, during the subsequent police activity.

In their ongoing investigation, the authorities are piecing together the circumstances of the incident. Chopper 6 aerial footage revealed the presence of multiple evidence markers near the woman's covered body. The effort now is to pinpoint the vehicle involved in this tragic hit-and-run as the driver remains at large.
