Heads up to all faculty and staff at Miami University, it's time to secure your spot for the next academic year. According to a recent announcement on Miami University's official website, parking permits for the 2025-2026 season are now available. The good news for those worried about the rising costs of everything these days: prices haven't budged from last year.
For those full-time employees weighing their options on payment, the school is offering some flexibility. Miami University's website states, "Full-time employees may have the cost of their permits payroll deducted over the course of the school year, or pay in full with a credit card online." It's a small consolation for the daily hassle of finding a spot, no doubt.
There's also a note for drivers who are used to pulling through or backing into parking spaces. If your car is missing that front license plate, it's time to kick that habit. Miami University's parking policy is clear, "Please do not back in or pull through a double row of spaces." They need to see your license plate from the drive aisle to check if your permit is valid for your chosen spot.
Students, you're not left out of the parking conversation—Miami's got some updates for you as well. Head over to Miami’s parking website to read up on the latest in student parking policies. Information is power, especially when it comes to navigating the concrete jungle of campus parking.
