Milton residents should prepare for schedule changes and possible traffic delays as the City Pool at Milton City Park and Preserve will close early on several dates to accommodate the Milton Mustangs’ swim meets. The pool will close to the public at 3 p.m. on Thursday next week, June 19, and June 24, as per the City of Milton release.

Increased traffic and limited parking are expected during these events. The Milton Police Department will be monitoring the area for parking violations to ensure roadways and driveways remain clear for emergency access. Residents can report violations by calling 911 or 678-297-6300.

An additional pool closure is scheduled for June 25 at 4 p.m. for the team's end-of-season event. No major traffic or parking issues are expected that day.

For more information about the closures, residents can contact Parks and Recreation Program Supervisor Thomas Rhodes at [email protected].
