The City of Minneapolis is inviting community members to join in on a morning dedicated to greening the city and supporting local wildlife. According to a social media post from the City of Minneapolis Government, the Bryant Avenue Planting Day will take place on Saturday, June 7, from 9 a.m. to noon.
"Did you know planting rain gardens helps clean stormwater AND supports pollinators like bees and butterflies?" the City of Minneapolis Government noted in the post. Volunteers who are keen to help can meet at Lyndale Farmstead Park, located at 3900 Bryant Ave. S.
