Miami Police launched a thorough search, distributing a description of Ducasse – standing at 5 feet, 6 inches, weighing around 130 pounds, with brown eyes, and bald – to enlist the public's aid. In a statement obtained by WSVN, authorities did not specify where in Allapattah Ducasse was last seen, which might have, widened the search area unnecessarily.
